Alessandro Marcellos d-moll-Oboenkonzert erschien um 1716 in einem Sammeldruck von sechs Konzerten f?r verschiedene Soloinstrumente, zu dem auch Tomaso Albinoni und Antonio Vivaldi als Komponisten beigetragen hatten. Bereits zuvor hatte Johann Sebastian Bach von diesem Werk eine Transkription f?r Cembalo (BWV 974) erstellt. Da sich ein Gro?teil der Verzierungen Bachs auf der Oboe gut realisieren l?sst, ?bernahm der Herausgeber diese Ausarbeitung in die vorliegende Ausgabe.
